These authentic Purpurite slabs measure approximately 2–4 inches in length, 1.5–3 inches wide, and 0.25–0.5 inches thick, making them ideal for display, meditation, crystal grids, or serious mineral collectors.

🌍 Origins & Formation of Purpurite

Purpurite is a manganese iron phosphate mineral that forms as a secondary mineral through the weathering of lithium-rich pegmatites. It is most commonly found in regions such as Namibia, Brazil, and parts of Australia, where geological conditions allow its signature purple coloration to develop.

Unlike dyed or enhanced purple stones, Purpurite’s color is entirely natural, resulting from manganese oxidation—a process that also contributes to its unique surface characteristics.
